Carrie and Lawrence Jaggs wed at Prested Hall in Feering on 4th April. Their big day's colour scheme was chocolate and dusky pink hues. |

Carrie says: "It was amazing to have all the people we love come together for our special day, and I think the wedding plans made us even stronger as a couple. We spent two years planning our special day, but shortly after we had booked everything Lawrence was made redundant and we struggled with our finances. In the end though, everything came together and all the hard work we had put in was worth it. "The most memorable part of the day for me was Lawrence's speech, which was a moving tribute to his late nan - that brought a tear to everyone's eye. We both enjoyed the weather too, which was glorious. It had previously been forecast to rain the whole day and we were really worried it would spoil the photographs, so we breathed a sigh of relief when the sun came out! I genuinely enjoyed every minute."

Victoria and Tony Ellis tied the knot at Newlands Hall in Chemsford on 14th June , and they had plenty of fun with their sweets theme. |

Victoria says: "It took us 14 months to plan the wedding, and it was so much better than we could have ever imagined. We enjoyed every minute and one of the best things we did was to get up and mingle with the guests between each course of the meal. It was seen as an open invitation by everyone and in the end we all had a wander around. It wasn't planned, but it broke up the formality of the day and gave us a bit of extra time with our friends and family. "The pick 'n' mix was also a hit and made every adult turn into a child! I also remember walking down the aisle and seeing Tony's massive grin, which totally eased my nerves and made me feel happy. I'll never forget the huge smile that he gave me. In fact I enjoyed the planning process so much that I've just passed a wedding planning course and am considering turning this passion into a career."

Samantha says:"Stuart has been my best friend for more than eight years, so it was a dream come true to finally marry him. The wedding took 16 months to plan and we both wrote our own vows, which left everyone in tears including myself and Stuart. "I also surprised him by walking down the aisle to one of our favourite reggae songs - we're both big fans of the genre, so it was really fitting and I know Stuart was thrilled! It was the most perfect day of my life and everything went according to plan. We couldn't have asked for more."
